Cheesy Corn Fingers
Cheesy Corn Fingers is an easy to prepare snack for your evening tea time or if you are looking to make it for the kids’ party or any get-together. As you can do most of the preparation beforehand making it easier

Cheesy Corn Fingers Recipe

Ingredients

Brown/ White bread slices 4 no. (s)
Corn – 1 Cup (Steamed)
Mashed potato – 1-2 (boiled)
Fresh coriander chopped -½ tsp
Chopped green chilli a pinch
Salt as per taste
Cheese- Grated
Method
1. Toast the bread slices from one side until it turns crisp.
2. Take boiled corns, crush half of the quantity and mix the crushed and uncrushed corns well.
3. Combine corns, mashed potato, coriander,  green chilli and salt in a bowl and mix them well. Add salt to taste.
4. Spread the mixture on the untoasted side of the bread slices.
5.  Add grated cheese on top of bread slice that has mixture on it.
6.  Place bread slices in a hot pan and cook until the cheese melts.
A quick tip: I usually put the bread with mixture and cheese in the microwave for 30 seconds so that cheese melts faster and again keep on the pan to have a crusty base.

7. When cooked take them out and cut into desired size and serve hot.
For my son, I usually add more cheese to look tempting!
Enjoy it hot cheesy sticks on a rainy day or simply relish with your tea or coffee!
