Jan12,2016
HABA squalane
HABA is an established skincare and healthcare brand from Hokkaido, Japan. It was established in 1983 with the Mutenka which means excluding harmful substances that are prevalent in other commercial brands.HABA is an acronym which stands for “Health Aid Beauty Aid” which means assisting health and beauty. They have got various products in their range which is just perfectly designed for your skin.

What is so unique about HABA that we should go for it
 No Paraben
No Artificial Colours
No Artificial fragrance
No petrochemical Surfactant
No Mineral Oil

HABA skincare products have one key ingredient Squalane- extracted from the liver oil of deep-sea sharks. HABA’s Squalane is 99.9% pure and lightweight that it gets absorbed quickly without leaving any greasy residue.

Why do you think we need it?

Squalane in the skin is lost as we age, causing fine lines and wrinkles to appear. Though Squalane is found naturally in the human skin At the birth about 12% of our skin surface is made of Squalane. When we reach the age of late twenties, its production begins to decline quite rapidly and by the time we are 50, production drops to below 5%. Squalane naturally replaces this lost moisture leading to smoother, finer skin.

It has got anti-bacterial properties which can treat eczema prone skin. Since I have a bit of dry skin especially on my hands but have noticed the difference on my face and hands after using it. Skin looks more supple and vibrant in the morning.
I am quite fascinated with moisturizer in this crystal clear bottle which is not thick and you only need a drop or two to apply on your face and neck. It is suitable to use in Singapore’s humid weather without feeling greasy.
Gently massage for a minute and it will be absorbed by the skin pretty fast.  It works similar to the natural oils our skin has to got and you can replenish it with Squalane.
Just to sum up the benefits and uses of Squalane-
Other benefits of the moisturizer –
  • Prevents skin irritation
  • Stimulate new cell growth
  • Protect your skin from UV rays
  • Protects against free radicals
  • Have antibacterial properties
Other uses –
  • Stretch Marks
  • Hair care
  • Hand & body
  • Baby massage
