Mums&babies review: Sofzsleep Junior Pillow

Dec15,2015
Sofzsleep Junior Pillow
All you need is a good pillow to have a sound sleep! For our little one it is more important as their muscles are still quite tender so a good pillow is quite essential. When Alex told me about Sofzsleep Junior pillow which is simply designed for Junior and its various benefits. I thought to try one with Aayan and Kaira whether they are comfortable with these pillows.

While shopping during those baby fairs,I have seen various pillows but never bought any from the market. When my kids were at infant stage we used to have a very soft pillow made by my mom-in-law at home just good enough to support their neck.Later I have tried a couple of them but my kids prefer to sleep without a pillow unless it is really comfortable.

First thing I have noticed on the packaging was these four highlighted features of Sofzsleep pillow.

  • Anti- microbial
  • Natural Bamboo cover
  • Dust mites resistant
  • No harmful chemicals

Sofzsleep® latex components and mattress fabric are Oeko-Tex® standard 100 certified. This is the strictest certification and ensures that they comply with health standards and are safe even for babies. It is highly resilient and maintains its shape and consistency for many years.

Sofzsleep products have latex molecule which acts like a microscopic spring. So, I told kids that even when they press the pillow it will come back to its original shape and Kaira thought it is more like a playtime.

This pillow has a contour design that gently cushions the head and cradles the neck to provide a comfortable support throughout the night. Another thing which I have noticed with my kids that they usually have a sweaty head and hairs in the morning even when they have slept in an air-conditioned room but with Sofzsleep junior pillow there isn’t any sweating probably because of the open cell structure of the pillow which allows good ventilation.

Junior pillow comes with a washable bamboo cover and there is no zip attached to it, you just need to slide the pillow inside it.

Loved the cuddly and very soft designs on the bamboo cover, my kids don’t want to put any other cover on it.

A closer look at the bamboo cover.

Since we are a bit allergic to dust mites followed by non-stop sneezing. Totally swear by  the anti-microbial and dust mites resistant properties of this pillow which makes it an ideal choice for my kids.

You can purchase the junior pillow in two different sizes available in the market (M and S).

  1. This is perfect for my 4yr old. She currently has adult sized pillows but something like this she would love and appreciate so much more. It’s just right for her.

  2. My kdis never used pillows, or had bolsters before 18 months. They co-slept with us and never used blankets either. It’s more of me being cautious about SIDS. But eventually they started using pillows to fall asleep, but I take them off it when they’re in REM. My eldest only learned to like sleeping on a pillow when he was around 3 years old.

  3. I think any parent would want the best for their toddlers. Investing in a nice and fitting pillow is a good start to ensure comfort of your child.

  4. I’ve never seen a pillow that would be perfect for babies. I always struggled looking for the perfect pillow when the twins were younger. I hope I would’ve stumbled upon this instead.
