Coconut Laddoo

Coconut Laddoo is one recipe with which I am very much attached even though this is the simplest recipe I have tried and probably the very first prepared during my school days.

Some beautiful memories …….
Whenever I used to prepare this coconut ladoo, will wait for my dear papa to come back from office. Make sure that no one even touches it before he has tried and then wait for his comment !!
Thought of posting this recipe today on his birthday, ” Happy Birthday dear Papa !” .Wish he was with us, I would have loved to prepare it for him again.. Miss you!

 

Coconut Laddoo Recipe

Ingredients 
Dry Coconut- 1( Grated)
Condensed Milk – 3/4 tin
Oil- To Grease
1. Keep some portion of coconut for rolling later.
2 . In a pan take dry coconut and lightly roast the grated coconut for 2 minutes.
3. Add milkmaid to it and stir for 2-3 minutes on low flame only, as it will stick to the bottom very fast.
4. Take it off the burner and let it cool down..
5. Slightly grease your hands with oil and make small balls of this mixture. If you wish you can add some roasted dry fruits to it as well to add more texture and crunchiness to it otherwise you can enjoy like this also.
6. Roll them over the remaining coconut.
